Our client is looking for a Power BI Specialist to drive adoption, governance, and best practices in Power BI across international teams. The ideal candidate is from one of the following countries: The Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Poland, or Sweden.

With Data playing an increasingly critical role in business success, the company is looking for a Senior Power BI Expert to drive the adoption and effectiveness of Power BI across multiple international teams. You will be a consultant and coach, helping analysts and business users utilize Power BI effectively.
As the go-to expert, you will:
- Train and educate teams on best practices in Power BI
- Develop and implement Power BI governance and data management frameworks
- Ensure consistent and efficient Power BI reporting structures
- Work closely with data analysts, business stakeholders, and managers to drive a data-driven culture
- Guide teams in building and optimizing Power BI dashboards and reports
- Be a thought leader in data visualization, DAX, and Power BI strategy
You will be part of a strong international data team and collaborate with local teams in different countries. This role involves occasional travel to Groningen for meetings with managers.
The Profile of a Power BI Specialist
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Intelligence, or a related field
- Experience: At least 5+ years of experience working with Power BI
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in DAX, Power BI governance, dashboard design, and best practices
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to train and coach teams, and a consultative mindset
- Preferred Locations: Based in the Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Poland, or Sweden
- Languages: English fluency required; Dutch is a plus
