Role Overview
As the Head of Global IT, you will drive the company’s IT strategy across multiple regions, overseeing operational and infrastructure needs. You will lead an international team, ensuring seamless IT performance and proactively optimizing systems to meet the demands of a global enterprise. This role requires a dynamic leader who is deeply involved in all aspects of IT management, from strategic oversight to daily troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities

Global IT Leadership: Build and guide an international IT team focused on supporting ERP, manufacturing, and engineering operations. You will work directly with team members to address high-level and immediate technical needs.

Strategic Infrastructure Management: Lead the design and deployment of resilient cloud and network infrastructure to meet the organization’s global needs. Expect to be actively involved in infrastructure planning, deployment, and optimization.

IT Security & Compliance: Implement and manage IT security protocols, ensuring compliance with ISO 27001 and robust disaster recovery strategies. Lead efforts to assess and mitigate risks swiftly.

Operational IT Management: Ensure smooth operations across regions, managing IT support for hardware, software, and networking needs. You’ll work closely with your team to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.

Vendor & Partnership Management: Engage with external vendors to enhance efficiency and innovation, handling contract negotiations and overseeing vendor performance.

Change Management & System Upgrades: Oversee IT system changes and upgrades, applying change management strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure smooth transitions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We seek an experienced IT leader with extensive technical knowledge and a track record of managing global IT operations in dynamic settings. The ideal candidate has experience building and leading international teams, maintaining resilient infrastructures, and managing complex projects effectively.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in a senior IT role, ideally within the manufacturing or engineering sectors. Should be skilled in overseeing both strategic IT initiatives and daily operations.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in Microsoft technologies (Azure, Active Directory, SharePoint), ERP systems, and IT security standards. Experience in managing cloud infrastructure and ISO 27001 compliance is highly valued.
- Certifications: CompTIA, CITM, CISSP, or equivalent certifications preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership abilities with a hands-on approach to technical challenges and team management.
- Communication: Skilled at translating technical information for non-technical stakeholders and working collaboratively with senior leadership.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel and adjust working hours to support global operations.
