Why this role is available To keep up with the growing demand and further expand the platform’s capabilities, the company is seeking a Lead Data Engineer. Reporting to the CTO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the data infrastructure and ensuring scalability as the business grows. The team is small but mighty, and everyone contributes beyond their core responsibilities to achieve success. Your fintech experience will be a significant advantage.
You will:

Collaborate closely with the development team to design and implement scalable data solutions.

Optimize and maintain the data infrastructure to ensure seamless integration with the platform’s expanding features.

Analyze user behavior and transaction patterns to provide actionable insights for clients.

Participate in strategic discussions and bring a commercial mindset to the table.

Be onsite at least four days a week to foster strong collaboration during this critical growth phase.

The profile of the Lead Data Engineer:

A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.

Proficiency with data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar.

Strong skills in SQL and experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Familiarity with fintech platforms is a plus.

Analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to the success of a growing startup.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
