Fullstack Lead PHP Developer
For more than 80 years, our client has been working to bring people within an organisation to their maximum potential. They do this by developing assessments. In doing so, they employ their own psychologists who provide advice based on the assessments. This combination of advice and technology makes them very strong. They originated from a collaboration with the VU. Therefore, science plays an important role. They serve major clients such as KLM, KPMG, Nestlé and Boels. From a modern business premises in Amsterdam, they work towards success. There is a mature and pleasant atmosphere where everyone is closely involved with each other.
Through various services, organisations are helped in attracting the best employees for their to maximum deployment. For instance, various assessments are offered. Think gamification or other tailor-made tests. Coaching programmes and other training courses are also offered. Software is becoming increasingly important. The SAAS product is therefore continuously improved and extended with new services. A complete analitycs system has been developed. An AI module is also being developed so that the right people can be recruited even more efficiently.
The product is developed in PHP with the Symfony framework. On the front-end, they use React.js. The team currently consists of 1 DevOps Engineer and 7 developers. These are divided into the freelance Lead Deveoper, 4 Medior to Senior Front-End Developers and 5 experienced Backend Developers.
With many new ideas ready to go, they are looking to expand the team. In doing so, the want to replace the freelancer for someone in-house. Therefore, they are looking for, among others, a Lead Fullstack PHP Developer. Besides being able to lead the team, you are also responsible for the architecture of the platform. You enjoy interacting with stakeholders and users and like to take ownership of what you do. It is important that Symfony is not completely unknown to you. You also have knowledge of front-end with preferably React.js.
Profile of Lead Fullstack PHP Developer:
- Minimum HBO/ WO working and thinking level
- At least 6 years of working experience with PHP and associated frameworks
- Experience with React.js or other frameworks
- Experience in leading a development team
- Experience with TDD, BDD
- Experience with AWS, Ansible and Terraform
- Experience in leading teams
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing
- Experience with AGILE/Scrum
